About three months ago, I was reviewing blog entries and thinking that my blog is a bit stale...boring...so-so.  I thought I should probably find some new topics/projects in the areas of knitting, family, baseball, etc. to write about.

I was one of 21,990 finishers at the P.F. Chang's Rock n Roll Arizona Half Marathon, with a time of 2:49:51.  I wasn't competing to place, but to finish, so I was pleased to be able to beat my 3:15 estimated time. Right as I walked in, this goose lit on top of it...and posed for a good two minutes.  Good thing, because I was so surprised to see it there, it took me a minute to get the camera working.   It made me think about how I've never seen a goose land on anything but the ground.
